Well summer is over. I hope you all had a good one!
September is the start of a new cycle, meaning
Back to school for millions of kids;
Back to the normal work schedule for thousands of Nine-to-Fivers;
and, for hundreds of jugglers
Back to waiting for the phone to ring!
I'm kidding of course. My phone service was cut off long ago.
HOLLAND AMERICA
This summer I performed on a Holland America cruise ship in Europe. We left from the port of Civitavecchia (near Rome), and during the course of three back-to-back 10-day cruises we visited Monte Carlo (where I saw the tent that houses the most prestigious circus festival in the world); Barcelona (took a fun bike tour); Santorini (picturesque island) and other ports in Greece; Dubrovnik, Croatia (got to cliff-jump into the Adriatic Sea); Palermo (cappuccinos!), Naples (more cappuccinos!!) and a lot more. Many great ports, and I wasn't even able to see all of them!
KRYSTALLPALAST
Exciting news! I recently signed a contract with the Krystallpalast in Leipzig, Germany. I have wanted to perform in a German cabaret/variety theatre for a long time, and the opportunity finally arose! I will be appearing there from early April to early July 2008, performing my cigar box act, as well as parts of other acts from my solo show "The Other Side."
KITCHEN THEATRE
At the end of the month I'm going home! I will give three performances of "The Other Side" in the town I grew up in - Ithaca, New York - as part of the Kitchen Theatre's Family Fare series.
