Hello Hello! After four months, I'm finally back with more news. First, a little about what I've been up to recently.
The Florida tour travelogue
The Lazer Vaudeville run at the Houseman Theatre ended successfully - successfully enough to be picked up by another theatre! More on that later...
The last show at the Houseman finished on Saturday May 14 at 10pm. By 1am the show was packed and en route to Florida for a week of shows. At 6am Monday morning, three bleary-eyed jugglers rolled out of the tour bus and loaded the show into the Naples Philharmonic. Two shows later, on the same day, we loaded out, and after a pit stop on the white sands of Naples beach, drove to Fort Lauderdale.
The schedule for the next four days was two shows a day, but the good news was they were over by 1pm. This left me the afternoons to visit the beach, window-shop at places that walk the line between chichi and cheesy, and witness firsthand the fashion anomaly they call Fort Lauderdale. Pastel is always in season here. So is plastic surgery - I've never seen so many senior teenagers!
To finish off the fun in the sun, we loaded into a different theatre in Ft. Lauderdale for our public show on Saturday. As soon as the show was finished, we packed up, then split up: Cindy flew to Boulder, and Carter and I took the truck on a non-stop-two-man-joy-ride back to NYC. Okay, so it wasn't a joyride, but the rest is true! Two weeks of much-needed vacation bring us back to the present...
Off-Broadway show "Lazer Vaudeville" moves to the Lamb's Theatre
I will be performing with Lazer Vaudeville at the Off-Broadway house, The Lamb's Theatre, from June 9 until September 4. Through July the show schedule is Monday, Thursday, Friday at 8pm; Wednesday and Sunday at 2pm; and Saturday at 2pm, 5pm and 8pm. Tickets are normally $49, but use the code LVDML29 for special $29 tickets. The acrobat Nicholas Flair, the hoop roller Carter Brown, and the juggler Cindy Marvell attempt stunts that leave zero margin for error (e.g., juggling a chainsaw). Sight gags and a catchy soundtrack move things along, but it's the performers' obvious enjoyment of their craft that lends the show its distinctive, old-fashioned charm."

Artist search: Performers, Video and Animation artists wanted
I am looking for performing artists, and video or animation artists for upcoming collaborative projects. If you know someone who may be interested, please forward this email.
Performing artists should have skill in at least two of the following disciplines:
Juggling, Partner or Solo Acrobatics, Dance, Physical Comedy, Clowning, Music, Rhythm, or other physical disciplines.
Other artists should have skill in one or more of the following areas (or something related), and a desire to create material for use in a show.
