I recently returned from a seven month tour of Switzerland with Cirque Starlight. We performed almost 200 shows in almost 50 towns. As you can see, it was almost impressive! I performed my box act, trampoline, and juggling, as well as playing a nerdy character - quite a stretch. We were the hottest act in towns like Moron, Bad Ragaz, Landquart, Pully, Fully, and Cully! We were in fact the only act. It was a very interesting trip, and I lived life in a different way than ever before. I am, however, happy to be home!
In between strenuous bouts of relaxing, I dusted off my stilts for a walk in the 30th Anniversary Village Halloween Parade here in THE City.
Sunday (sometimes known as... today) I leave for Boulder, CO, where I will begin rehearsals with Lazer Vaudeville. This is a three person show, mostly juggling. I will be performing my cigar boxes & shadowplay in addition to taking part in group acts (club passing, frisbee hat throwing, blacklight effects, kite flying and more). We will be touring the United States January 9 through May 8, 2004. We will travel in a tour bus, sharing the driving equally. Watch out!! I have a "cozy" room (ie. miniscule) on the bus, as well as a shared bathroom and kitchen. Part of the time I'll stay in hotels.
